Trisha Cohen
Principal
Trisha Cohen is a seasoned interior designer, holding a bachelor’s degree in interior design from Michigan State University.
Growing up surrounded by architecture with a father and stepfather in the field, design became an integral part of her life. With a decade-long focus on kitchen and bath design, Trisha ventured into independent practice, leveraging her 25 years of industry expertise.
Her passion lies in translating clients' design visions into tangible, personalized spaces, reflecting their unique aesthetic preferences. Trisha, fueled by her love for travel and exploration, journeys across the globe with her family, immersing herself in diverse cultures, architecture, and design. This passion permeates her life and infuses her design projects, where she seamlessly integrates inspiration from her travels into the unique spaces she creates for her clients.
Trisha finds joy in her spare moments, cherishing time with her husband and two children. You'll often spot her on the tennis court, or rejuvenating her spirit with a run, swim, or yoga session, prioritizing both family bonds and personal wellness.
Micah D’Hondt
design associate
After graduating from Michigan State University with a degree in Marketing, Micah planned A&D events for a leading office furniture manufacturer which honed her skills managing logistics while sparking her interest in design. Following that she spent several years at a medical software company before opening her own event planning business nearly 20 years ago.
Over the last few years, Micah has redirected her creative energy by curating beautiful spaces. Realizing that the worlds of events and design happily mesh, she has joined Trisha Cohen Design where she proudly serves as a Design Associate. Her mission is simple:… to make every project perfect for the client.
Life, for Micah, is a harmonious composition of family, friends, fitness, and food. A homebody at heart, she finds joy in cooking, hanging out with her husband and two kids, gathering with friends and walking her dogs.
